Amazing experience from start to finish. As a first-time car buyer, everything was explained clearly, no pressure, no games, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. Diego was genuinely polite, knowledgeable, and straightforward, answered every question honestly, and made sure I felt confident in my decision. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother and supportive process. Thank you very much Diego! It’s a pleasure to do business with you and the Pacific Auto Center in Costa Mesa.
⚠️ ATTENTION ALL CAR BUYERS – Please Read Before Purchasing from Pacific Auto Center of Costa Mesa I want to share my experience to hopefully help other buyers make an informed decision before purchasing a vehicle from Pacific Auto Center. In 2022, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. During the purchase process, I was strongly encouraged to buy an extended warranty through United States Warranty Corp. The warranty cost me $5,000 in addition to my down payment, and I was told it would provide strong protection and peace of mind. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had multiple engine-related issues, and every time my mechanic contacts the warranty company, they come up with excuses to deny the repairs. The coverage has essentially been useless and has not helped with the issues it was supposed to protect against. Even more frustrating, the warranty contract states that it includes interior and exterior paint coverage. A few months ago, I submitted a claim because the sun has clearly started fading the paint on the vehicle, yet the claim was denied with more excuses. What makes this situation worse is learning that out of the $5,000 warranty cost, the dealership reportedly kept $3,700, while the actual warranty itself was only about $1,200. That means most of what I paid did not even go toward the coverage. At this point, I feel the warranty that was sold to me is essentially worthless. Buyers should be extremely cautious when being offered extended warranties through this dealership. My advice to anyone considering buying from this dealership: • Carefully review any warranty contract before signing • Ask exactly what is covered and what is excluded • Consider getting independent advice before paying thousands for additional coverage I hope sharing my experience helps other buyers avoid the same frustration and financial loss. ⭐ Transparency and honesty matter when customers are making major financial decisions like buying a car.
I purchased a car at Pacific Auto Center in Costa Mesa last week. Unfortunately the bad reviews on this dealership are true. The biggest issue is the lack of integrity. They use classic dealership style scams like a bait and switch tactic on pricing. They advertised a price for my van to which i agreed upon and didn't even try to negotiate them down from their listed asking price. We went into an office to finalize the deal where they attempted to charge an additional $5,500 for paint protection, theft deterrents, tint, and other add-ons that were never discussed beforehand. They lied about the addons not being able to be removed. I also found a problem with the suspension and asked their mechanic to look at it and let me know what we can do about it. He came back and said the car was perfectly fine. When i got it to my mechanic the brakes were completely gone and the right front wheel bearing was shot. I gave them a chance to make it right and pay for those repairs that their mechanic and sales rep lied about. I even offered to split the difference on those repairs and i would pay half but management said flat NO. Took no responsibility for the lies, won't answer calls etc. I will say my sales rep was a nice guy but what does nice get you when your dealing with a shady dealership. I won't ever buy from them again. Buyer beware!
