  I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but after everything I’ve been through with EPTX Motors and Carlos, I feel like people deserve to know what I went through. I bought a 2005 C6 Corvette after Carlos told me it only needed a few minor repairs and everything would be taken care of. I was excited to finally own my dream car. They did replace the driver’s door panel and rear view mirror, but many of the promises, weren’t kept. The car had the wrong rims and incorrect front tire sizes, making it wobble and click while driving. Carlos originally said he would replace the rims and tires, but later refused, saying it cost too much. I ended up paying 400 dollars for rims. When it came to the tires, he didn’t want to pay at all until I showed him text messages proving what he’d promised. Even then, he only covered part of the cost. What says the most about this situation is that Jeremy, one of the employees, stepped up, paid for half the tires and even covered a cracked windshield out of pocket. That really shouldn’t have been his responsibility. Later, more issues appeared. Brake problems, windows that wouldn’t roll down, leaking antifreeze, engine oil so dark it clearly hadn’t been changed, missing bolts, missing speakers, malfunctioning seat controls, bumpers not installed correctly, scratches, chipped paint all over. When I drove the car home, it started making loud scraping metal noises and popping sounds. I couldn’t drive over25 miles per hour on the highway. I genuinely feared for my safety. I could have been in serious trouble. Buying this car should have been exciting. Instead, it’s been months of stress, repairs, and broken promises. If you’re considering buying from EPTX Motors or Carlos, get every promise in writing and have the vehicle inspected independently before signing. I wish I’d done that.

  I want to share my experience so other buyers can be careful when dealing with this dealership. I purchased a Subaru WRX from this lot with around 31,000 miles. After almost 3 years the car only has about 48,000 miles, not because I barely drive it, but because the car has spent a huge amount of time in repair shops since the day I bought it. The vehicle has had multiple mechanical problems and has been unreliable almost the entire time I’ve owned it. What made the situation worse is that I later found out the engine that was installed in the car was not even the correct WRX engine. It had an engine from a Subaru Outback even though the contract clearly stated it was a WRX. This is extremely disappointing because that information was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. As a customer you trust that what is written in the contract matches the vehicle you are buying. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying from this dealership inspect the vehicle very carefully and verify everything independently before signing anything. Unfortunately my experience has been very frustrating and expensive. Just sharing this so others can be more cautious.

  Watching my boyfriend go through this has been tough. He was so happy about his Corvette, and Carlos made it sound like minor repairs, but that isn’t what happened. Some things were fixed, but a lot of what was promised wasn’t followed through. Jeremy, one employee, actually paid for part of the tires and even helped cover a cracked windshield, which honestly shouldn’t have been on him. Since then, more problems keep popping up. He told me that on the drive home, the car started making scraping noises and then popping. He could barely go25 miles per hour. That scared me. No one should feel unsafe driving home after buying a car. I just hope no one else has to deal with this kind of stress and disappointment.
