I had a terrific experience with Daniel at Cotera Motors. He was very kind and patient while I made my decision. He let me take the car out for a pre-purchasing inspection too. He was very clear about the purchasing process and made closing the deal easy. He took my previous car at a fair trade-in value and even noticed a brake light out on my new car that got fixed by them out the door. I would definitely recommend coming here to purchase a used car!
My experience with Cotera Motors has been absolutely horrible. I purchased a 2016 Volkswagen from them, and it turned out to be nothing but trouble. They completely lied about the car’s condition—warning and functioning lights appeared on the screen immediately, proving they knowingly hid problems from me. They also promised an extra tire, yet never provided it. When I went back on Friday, just two days after purchasing the car, their attitude was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely dismissive. It’s clear they are not selling genuine or reliable vehicles, and they have no honesty or integrity when dealing with customers. I truly feel betrayed and strongly advise everyone to stay away from Cotera Motors. They are ridiculous, misleading, and not to be trusted. Bad experience.... fake promises with the customers....
Definitely a SHADY experience with this dealership. After buying a car, the check engine light appeared within hours, and the dealership had me bring it back while someone drove it around and suggested I wait while they took the car to a shop. (WHAT SHOP? THERE WAS NO SHOP!)They brought it back quickly, and the light was off—(IM NOT STUPID) Common concerns that it was just a reset. The light came back a day later, and my attempts to reach them went unanswered. They were real fishy aboutwhat to say to the bank and what not to say. I’m pursuing further steps to resolve this.
