  • Feeling overwhelmed by the dreaded car shopping experience? You’re not alone! After our past adventures with used cars, I was seriously beginning to lose hope. But then we discovered 1st Auto & Marine in Apache Junction, and everything changed! From the moment we stepped onto the lot, it felt different. Mirwais Tarin, the owner, greeted us warmly and immediately set a welcoming tone. Although the vehicle we initially came to see wasn’t available, he quickly showed us other options within our budget. No pressure—just genuine help! The only hiccup was an electric seat that we could not get to work, but (thanks to my husband since I’m on the shorter side) we were able to complete a test drive. We took our time to discuss over lunch before returning to check fuses for that seat—Mirwais was totally cool with it! He even offered to take off some $ for any potential repairs that may be needed. In the end, we purchased the Honda Pilot that fits our family perfectly—with plenty of room for all our adventures! I highly recommend this family-owned dealership if you’re in the market for a vehicle. It’s so nice dealing with people who truly care instead of just going through the motions! Fair prices, Good quality vehicles, and transparent communication.

  • Seems like everyone is either at a 5-star rating with excellent things to say or they are at a 1-star describing the horrible experiences they have had. There are very little that in between. So, if you go to this place, you will have an awesome or awful experience. Due your due diligence and research the car you want to purchase, check the VIN number, and just be prepared when you walk in. I did extensive research when I purchase my car there. The customer service was awesome, and I LOVE my car. I got a great deal along with a great trade in value. 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, a warranty on the car, and a lot of other perks. I'm also read a lot of horrible things about the company they use for credit, "Reliable Credit". I found the same thing. either extreme horror stories or some nice things to say. I purchased my car back in early September of 2017 and I have not had a single issue with Reliable Credit. Now with all this being said, expect an update soon because I am going to get my car serviced by them. We shall see how this goes... if it's not how they explained it to me I will blast my negative feedback all over the internet and i will not be nice about it. So far... so good... we will see soon, and I will give an update to my review. If you do go, there to check it out... it's really easy to miss. There is a quick turn into the entrance and the dealership is kind of farther from the street. When I first went there it took me 4 times to find the correct turn! LOL

  • Shout out To Mir! I walked in and told him my needs and he made it happen for me the best he could. In a reasonable time limit, made the process seem seamless. His ability to work with you shows how he actually does care to help
