These guys are the best. Helped me find the right fit for me and my family when I was in a bind.  Got my plates same day they are AWESOME. All the cars I test drove are solid and low mileage I’ll definitely be coming back around income tax season! Highly recommend AUTOMOTO !

Absolutely Amazing!!!! I just bought my first car from here and they worked with me on the price. The car is extremely reliable with nothing wrong with it! I loved the energy and knowledge that they had about the vehicle!

Update: unfortunately, it has been 3 months and I have not received my plates and my temp tag is about to expire again. They were nice enough to offer to pay me back for my third temp tag but that one is going to expire and I have yet to receive my plates

Update: 4 months no title or plates. I will be pressing charges if this continues much longer. If you ever go here (which I don't recommend) then do the title and plates yourself. Don't pay for a service they don't provide in a legal time frame. Unfortunate.

Update Nov 23rd: Picked up the car Aug 22nd, which had expired temporary plates that expired in July. I was given an application to take to the tax assessor office to get temporary plate. My issue is that its required for a dealership to provide a metal temporary plate when a vehicle is sold. Let alone sell a car with an expired tag.

After a few weeks the check engine light came on, (MAF sensor). I had already had it diagnosed before taking the car back to Automoto, i was curious to see if I would be told the same thing. Amir was on vacation at the time. I told the other guy the issue, he went outside to take a look. All he did was hook up a reader and delete the codes. He tells me he would give me a call to let me know when one of their mechanics would be able to look at it. It didnt make sense to me because the codes were deleted and he didn't tell me what the issue was (which i already knew due to a prior diagnostic done that I didnt make known I had done). I wanted to see if trust and honesty would be an issue.

Lastly, a couple of months goes by and still no plates. I was still riding with the same expired tags that was on the vehicle when I purchased it. I feel i should only have been responsible to get temporary plates on my own once the temp plates the dealer is required to provid expired (which again was not the case). I did get pulled over by Jersey Village police. If you are familiar with Jersey Village Police, they do not mess around. Shortly after I explained to the officer what was going on, the officer was understanding of the situation. He also advised me to file a complaint against the dealer, due to not providing temporary plates at time of sale, and since the paper plates was already expired. He issued me a warning.

I took the officer advice and filed a complaint against the dealer. About 2 weeks later my plates and sticker arrived for me to pick up. When I went to pick up the plates and registration, the guy (not Amir) confronted me about filing a complaint. His demeanor, attitude was unprofessional. He kept saying "It was your fault you were pulled over. We gave you a paper to get your temporary plates, but you didnt follow instructuons". He could have handled and approached me in a different way. Not to mention i was actually on a phone call, but he did not care. The person i was on the phone with was shocked at how i was being treated at that time. The attitude was unprofessional. Especially with a consumer who just purchased from your business.

I understand the temporary metal plates are a fairly new process which may take some time. My issue is if it is legally required for a dealer to issue temporary metal plates on a vehicle at the time of sale (which didnt happen), why am I being met with an attitude when I take steps to make sure im driving legally. Why am I being told it was my fault, I didnt follow instructions, etc. Truth of the matter is all of this could have been avoided if the vehicle I picked up Aug 22nd had the proper valid temporary tags, instead of an expired temp paper plate that was expired. If everything was handled properly, I would have had no issue to renew my temp plates when it was time, until the dealer took the steps needed to finalize registration and plates.

What made me update my previous review is in regards to the hostility and unprofessional attitude I received when I went to pick up my plates and registration.
