  Buyers beware! Do not buy from Don and the Baldwin family! They are clearing codes and hiding underlying problems! I recently had purchased A vehicle from Don and the night I brought it home. I had an error code for the transmission go off and let the Dealership know. They had me bring it back to them and said that they did not find any codes and ended up clearing them. I received my car back and the day after the codes went back on again. Don his father and brother were no help and told me to use the $1800 warranty that I purchased to get the work done. I took it to a dealership where they found that all of the underlying conditions to the transfer case or pre-existing making my warranty that I purchased invalid. So now I currently have a vehicle that I have to pay for for four years that needs $6000 in repairs that will not be honored by the warranty because they are pre-existing. Don His brother and father are the most untrustworthy people I have ever deal with. So now I have a car that doesn’t drive and will not be fixed with a warranty. I purchased through them. I’m now stuck with a broken car in my driveway. Thank you Don for the worst purchase of my life. You and your family are the most crooked people I have ever met. I’m going to report you guys to the Better Business Bureau and let everyone of my family and friends in Escondido know how crooked you guys are. So if you’re looking for a used vehicle and Escondido area, do not go to Baldwin motorsports! I enclosed a picture of the bill that I have from Jeep to get my vehicle fixed which I cannot cannot afford. Avoid the hassle and go to a legitimate car dealership like Carmax so you don’t get Screwed like I did.

  I just bought a 2002 Audi TT from here, less than a week ago, drove it home that day no issue, next day I turn it on and it's squealing, I think ok I'll get looked at soon. So I drove it normally but now it's overheating, took it to a mechanic and the coolant reservoir is bone dry. Hopefully there is no damage to the gaskets or anything else. Wildly displeased with this, and I feel like they knew because they made us sign a contract to get them out of any liability for problems. I understand that older cars with a lot of miles can be risky, I'm no idiot, but I really didn't think the problems would start within days of purchase. Attached is the very dry coolant reservoir

  Do not buy from this shady dealership! Don And his whole family are the most unprofessional, unreliable People I have ever dealt with. They are breaking the law and clearing codes then selling you a faulty vehicle. I had recently purchased a vehicle from them two months ago bought the extended warranty and the day I brought the car home codes were showing up on the dash. Once I took it into the dealership, the dealership had proof that the codes were removed prior to me buying it, which means the whole Baldwin group knew of these problems and still sold the vehicle faulty. The warranty company did not let me use my warranty so now I am out the $1800 I spent for the warranty. I’ve had a rental car for over two months totaling $1200 and I had to pay $300 to get my car out of one dealership to take it to the dealership they wanted. So now I’m stuck with a car I have to pay for for four years with over $6000 in damage and a $1800 warranty that ends invalid and I cannot get a refund on. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable dealership not one ran by Conman and thieves. Don His father and brother are the worst people in Escondido.
