I highly recommend Marcio at Brascar in Pompano Beach. It is not always easy to find a mechanic you can truly trust, and Marcio is one of those professionals. He is extremely honest, knowledgeable, and professional. He only recommends repairs or maintenance that your vehicle actually needs and never tries to sell you unnecessary work. His prices are fair; he does not overcharge, and he always takes the time to explain what needs to be done and why. I have had an excellent experience with Marcio and really appreciate having a mechanic I can trust with my vehicles. Communicated with the dealership regarding a Mercedes C250 found online. Carfax report was pretty good. I told the salesman I was driving down from Delray and wanted to do my due diligence. I was told the car was super clean so I made an appointment. When I arrived at the lot I was amazed at the horrible condition of this car. Paint terrible, ripped seats overall poor condition. Pictures did not show these issues. Car is listed above average price on Cargurus for cars of its age and miles. Salesman told me it was clean for its age after I expressed my disappointment.
I went to purchase a blue 2016 Chevy Colorado truck from there, during my test drive I noticed a noise but the sales manager convinced me it was coming from the tires and the fact the truck didn’t drive for a while. I took his word and 2 weeks later truck broke down on the road with me with oil all over the road. Comes to find out something had broken and fell inside the engine. They made me pay almost $3000 to change the engine. After the repair the engine light was still on and the vehicle started overheating in about 2 weeks I brought it back they said that just take it somewhere else to fix it. They wouldn’t even give me a discount on anything. They all heard my concern with the vehicle after the test drive and felt sorry for me that the sale manager wouldn’t help me out after the break down. You can’t sue them dealers easily once you sign those documents. Please, please stay away from that dealer.
