  • 1. Bought a Kia Soul and was assured by Mranda that the airbag light was ON only due to the deployed passenger roof airbag. Safety being paramount, I specifically asked if the driver steering airbag was replaced and I WAS ASSURED YES. 1 month later taking to an Airbag specialist, I was shocked to know that the steering airbag was fake- just a horn cover. Also the control module was locked in Crash mode which means NONE of the airbags would deploy in case of crash. 2. Car broke down in Dallas and local Kia Dealer said the Exhaust Flex pipe was missing and a rigid straight pipe welded in place whoever did this was make-shift and would fall apart in 3-4 months when would no longer be seller's problem. Had to have car shipped back to Houston for a make-shift muffler job and because of the earlier rigid weld, it seems the catalytic converter (THESE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE) is cracked AND CAN FAIL ANYTIME IN FUTURE. Already spent $3k in all this.....and all they could offer is a referral to a local Muffler shop.
