After buying many cars in my life and not having great experiences, I wanted to start a different kind of car company. I wanted to set out to provide a high quailty used car without all the dealer tricks and deception What I found is people wanted that also! By being totally transparent and honest we built a small business into the largest independent dealer in the state. My wife and I sold that business in Indiana and moved to Florida with the dreams of doing the same business model here closer to our family. My company is called "Trade Guru" because we specialize in "new car trade ins". We look for 1-2 owners vehicles with documented service historys and Car Faxs. We source these Florida cars from 'Wilde Lexus, Sarasota BMW, Sunset Group and many other New Car stores". We allow you to take the cars to mechanics and even keep overnight! We are easy to deal with and family owned and operated. We charge ZERO extra fees! You will feel comfortable and at ease the minute you walk in the door, I guarantee!   • We found the perfect Volkswagen beetle convertible for my daughter. When we picked it up, there was a small transmission issue, but trade guru had another transmission installed in. The car runs absolutely perfectly. Barry and his team were easy to get along with the purchase was easy and I would recommend them 1 million times over.

  • Bought a 2014 Cadillac ATS, with 82,000 miles. I paid 9200 after being lied to about the cost of the dealer fee. I drove it home 45 minutes and already had a check engine light, it was for o2 sensors, replaced the sensors and the downpipe. After that one of my PCV lines went bad, then the second one went bad. Than my transmission had a shudder, paid $300 to get it flushed and inspected. Than my vacuum pump went bad and got that replaced. Than my valve cover gasket needed replaced, after that I had metal on my VVT solenoids. I got rid of the car at 92,000 miles. I got a fraction of what I paid. Also I haven't noted that he sold me the car with an airbag light on and later found out that it was because it completely lost connection to the passenger seat. I'm giving it 2 stars because the detail and condition of the car was spot on. I've been a car detailer for 2 years and the paint was perfect, and the car was spotless. Don't let the good looks fool you though. I also recently went on his website and ran the VIN of a low mileage volkswagen and it was in and out of the shop for 8 years for electrical issues. As a car salesman I'm sure he buys cars from auction for the bottom dollar, clean them up and just get rid of them. I spent $2500 to keep the car running, as a high schooler, $9200+$2500 i spent on this car was a lot of money. I sold it to someone who KNEW what was wrong with the car, and he pulled it apart and found out 1/4 cylinders had compression and 3/4 cylinders where CRACKED. I should've noticed how when I told him my previous car blew up on me because someone just cleared the check engine light and sold it to me, he couldn't look me in my eyes and couldn't sit still. If I saw him in person I'd love to "speak with him", maybe I'll just stop in one day!
