  So I have been in the Onyx showroom two separate occasions over a period of about six months. Looking at completely different bites for different reasons. My first impression was that they had a huge variety of really quality used bikes. I’ve been writing as a licensed writer for 28 years and I’ve been on bikes for 33 years. The first time I went in, I was interested in an R1. The staff was completely low pressure. They asked me some reasonable questions about my writing experience prior to my test ride. They didn’t follow me around the showroom, they didn’t pressure me with any of the typical salesmanship tactics that we all experience at varying times of our life. That was a relief because it generally is a huge turn off for me. After riding the R1, I love the bike, but it just that fit that makes me feel like it’s an extension of my body, so I chose against it. No pressure from them on. Is there another bike that you think may work or any of that kind of stuff. Flash forward to present day. I went in looking specifically at a triumph speed triple RR. They had two triumph speed triples. I rode one and I thought it was a great bike. I was playing with the idea of making an offer and while walking through the showroom, I stumbled the cross a Ducati XDieval. It’s a completely different style like than the triumph, but something was speaking to me about it. I’ve been in the showroom for an extended period of time and realized I hadn’t eaten in hours and told Errol my sales person that I was going to go get some food and would either come back later that day or the following day to ride the XDiavel. Once again, zero pressure. He said he could keep my info on file so that we didn’t have to redo everything other than the release document prior to the test ride. Came back from the ride and really enjoyed it from a standpoint of not experiencing that upright ride in a long time, combined with never experiencing the level of power in an upright ride. On paper and practicality, the triumph was the more logical purchase. But I didn’t have the same emotional connection to the triumph as I did that Ducati. I made an offer. Josh, the manager Worked respectfully and diligently on getting to a number that worked for both of us. In the end, it feels like a win-win, which is my preference for all of my purchases that deal with sales people. So if it’s not obvious yet, I would highly recommend the guys down at Onyx. I like bikes and already own one that I’m keeping plus this one that I’m buying, and I suspect I’ll end up buying more in the near future. I know I’ll return to Onyx.

  Update 3/2026 After visiting the shop several times for my XE parts, I ended up buying a new Zero SR/F from them. I highly recommend this dealer as their staff are great to work with especially Errol. I continue to order my accessories through them for both SR/F and XE now. ----- Got my Zero XE parts ordered for pickup from here. They were quick to get (4 days) but do have to call back and check every few days. The sales floor are spacious with many brands of used bikes. They do have some new inventory also. Parking is limited but was available. Restrooms room was clean. While I was there, I saw several new boxes of 2026 Zero FXE being unpacked. The sales staff are easy going and is very respectful of your time. No pressure and was able to try sitting on several bikes that interested me. I also took out a bike for a test ride without any hassle of commitment to buy. Overall the experience was enjoyable.

  Josh and Jay made buying my first motorcycle one of the easiest and most enjoyable experiences I’ve had. They were patient and never made me feel pressured throughout the process. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and confident with my purchase. I really appreciate how easygoing and professional they were. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience buying my first bike, especially with being out of state. Great prices & great people. Highly recommend working with them!
