If I could give 100 stars, I would because what I experienced was rare, golden and genuine. Having perused their website to find the perfect car for me, I eagerly ran down to the dealership hoping to see the one I wanted. It was 7:15am and they opened at 7:30am (I know! How cool is it that they open an hour and a half before everyone else! Good strategy :)) But I digress... I was greeted by Graham (who was just arriving to work). Soon after, Alex, the manager came in to assist. These guys are the real deal. They aren't clock watchers who only go to work so they can count down the hours until they leave. No, they actually enjoy their job, the people they work with and love helping regular people like you and me, find that perfect car to fit our needs. How do they do this? They listen and they listen and they listen. They aren't high pressured salespeople who are looking to make a quick buck. I have a saying when I'm trying to buy a car and it is to, "Make it make sense". I needed the purchase car to meet my needs and let's face it, I needed the bottom line to also meet my needs. It took a week for me to return to the dealership after thinking about it, doing more research and frankly being treated horribly by other dealerships, for me to seal the deal with Brotherton. I am so happy that I did. Here's what they gained by being, at their core, a very upstanding business - MY BUSINESS FOR YEARS TO COME! When I was signing the documents with Kimberly, who was so genuine that we shared stories and even laughed and cried at the humanity we shared, I asked her about this rare dealership culture. She said, simply put, that it comes from the TOP. Brad Brotherton. To hear her describe this lovely, family man that cares about how his brand (4 generation business) is represented, spoke volumes. I am so proud that I am supporting a FAMILY OWNED business. Here's my happy, happy self in my "new to me" car! Go experience this all for yourself. They will not disappoint! :) Update: Ryan, the service manager is class act. He literally wears many hats as no two situations are the same but one thing IS the same and that is how personal and precious our cars are to us. Ryan could be called a Crisis Management Expert In my situation. He listened (there's that listening again 😉) and calmly had a solution that immediately put me at ease. This is yet another reason to bring your business to Brotherton. These guys really care. 🙌
I'll start off by saying that I am not a fan of dealerships. I've had plenty of bad experiences and fundamentally have an issue with the way that most dealers handle their business. However, the car that looked best for our son was at this dealership so I figured I’d give it a look. I was very direct about that we wanted and didn’t want. I spent nearly a decade as a buyer professionally and feel confident in my ability to purchase and weed out the BS. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by this dealership. I worked on the deal with Duke Brotherton and briefly met Brad Brotherton (owner) while there. Both were incredibly friendly, no BS and were willing to work with me on a price for the car we purchased for my son. They did offer up some additional add-on’s which we declined and I felt no pressure whatsoever after declining a few services. I was well prepared, did all my homework and feel that we got a fair price for the vehicle. I would absolutely recommend these guys and would not hesitate to work with them again. Despite an inherent lack of trust of most dealerships, these guys were respectful, shot straight with me and certainly earned my respect and potential future business.
Mechanic claims he couldn’t the find key lock to rotate tires. Determine on his own somehow that they didn’t need rotating as noted on paperwork. Key was in plain sight on the center console. Representative I worked with didn’t seem to care when I asked about it. I care. For $1,150 in cost someone should care about quality service. I’ll be thinking twice before coming back.
