  • Bought a dodge challenger v8 manual transmission 3 months ago from them. It was a saturday where I was driving around looking for cars and their ad was on my list but I wasn't aware of them closing at 12. I think i arrived at 13pm where Steven just locked the gates and asked him of the car was up for a test ride and he immediately extended his free time and brought the car to the front where I could've had a look at it. Also a 20 min test drive with my friends was possible without any further discussing. Pretty solid first encounter. After the car was sold and I wanted to come pick it up, I noticed the windows of the coupon where open a few inches. It ended up being faulty motors and electrical components on both sides which was very annoying. After telling Steven he said immediately he would take care of it. Also the radio had a bad connection which he said he would fix in a go with the windows. After a while he had the radio fixed but the windows wasn't working as intended, they could be fully closed now but weren't able to automatically slide open and shut by opening the coupe doors so he forwarded me to another dealer which had the tools to fix it. It ended up being an actually huge problem and a lot of motors and electrical part had to be replaced, which he ended up paying for and got me a free loaner vehicle for the week it was at the other dealer. The only annoying thing I could say was the communication via whatsapp, where it took us 3 months of back and forth to get everything wrapped up. But he said if you want to get stuff done ASAP, you should just call the office right away, bc there is issues with the WhatsApp forwarding, which I ended up doing and then it was all fine, so just call the office if you want to get stuff done and youll be good.

  • Bought the car from Simple Automotive said they fixed some of the problems, but I received a check engine light less than 500 miles! They fixed the issue then the other issue would pop up! Don’t recommend buying from them. Finance a car with them and now it's costing 1k to fix the check engine at the Volkswagen dealer and Simple Automotive. Plus there west lake Financial sucks check their review! Respect your time and money!

  • I wouldn’t buy from here. I would say they’re not very honest. Said they just gave the car I bought an oil change, well the filter says 10/23 so someone’s lying. Said they had done an alignment, the car obviously pulls to the right and I had mentioned that and he said he never noticed so I stopped asking him questions about the car really. I drove the car off the lot, guess what, check engine light came on instantly. He was nice enough to check it but said that they had done it, it was most likely the wiring of the sensor but the wiring was obviously fine. Multiple bolts for the ignition coils were hand tight so I had to tighten them. There’s self tapping screws in plastic that are meant for clips. My interior has been falling apart since I bought it. I get it, it’s an older car but the transparency of this dealership is… lacking. I wouldn’t trust the integrity of this place. Another update, they told me the car had been in accident and was side swiped but it was okay. After taking it to get an alignment, I was told there was frame damage and now that also needs repairing. Do not trust this guys word. Another update, just got the vin inspected. They previously had the vehicle, sold it, buyer wrecked it, they bought it back and then sold it to me. In response to Steven, maybe you shouldn’t have posted it in car gurus, I did not rush this dealership, yes I kept calling because the transparency was lacking and yes I had purchased the tickets because the lack of communication within the shop. I wasn’t told the car might not possibly be ready until I was handed the phone off to Steven. No one had told me the car wasn’t going to be ready before I had already purchased a flight. And yes I had purchased non refundable tickets and I had mentioned that so obviously I was going to come for the car. My fault. Thankfully it made it home considering I have already spent a good amount already just to make it run a little smoother. You had already purchased the hood vents before I came to pick up the car because they were messed up and needed to be replaced so that was not a “favor” don’t act like it. But yes, I actually work on cars and was a mechanic so the lemon I was sold will be fixed correctly this time. All the techs did was replace a few suspension parts, maybe they need better techs. The corners cut to “make the deadline” was sad to say the least. If the car wasn’t ready for sale, probably shouldn’t have posted it at all. Steven simply lied saying he didn’t notice the pull, and if he truly didn’t I would be concerned for his work. The integrity of this whole establishment after reading the past reviews is obviously terrible and has been reoccurring. After hearing him lie directly to my face I decided it was “no big deal” because I would do the work right. Again, do not trust Steven and this establishment. Simply automotive is just simply… not good.
