  Absolute unprofessional operation. I did a trade in and paid the difference via a cashiers check. A week later, they call me saying they shredded their check. Then threatened to not pay off the trade in (which they are legally required to) until I go fetch another check. They basically shredded their own cash. My bank already withdrew the cash from my account and has a hold on it. Although it’s a done deal and I have no obligation to do anything, I offered to assist but my bank is requiring a written statement from Auto House saying that they shredded it. I told manager Sean Corrigan I need that written statement emailed to me to upload to my bank but for some reason he’s dragging his feet. It’s been a week and still no email. He thinks I can just walk into the bank and get another check. My bank requires documentation. They shredded their own money after a done deal, then refuse to keep their end of the deal and pay off the trade in vehicle. Let’s see how well that goes for them. I still offered to replace it, but they can’t type a paragraph explaining the situation for my bank. I can’t do anything for them without that email. Incompetence is costly. If getting a replacement for the one they shredded isn’t a priority to them, then it’s not a priority to me.
