  • Six months ago I purchased a 2023 Aston Martin Vantage w/ about 7k miles. I purchased it prior to seeing the car as I spent quite a bit of time with Jacob the salesman. We did a couple FaceTime videos, one in which I asked him on a scale of 1 to 10 his opinion about road rash, etc.etc. He said 9.5 and I asked him to specifically show me any flaws chips, detail issues in the vehicles interior and exterior and he presumably did so except now that I know where the damaged area is you can clearly see where he lifted the camera when he got to that fender location. The day after I drove the car home here to Lake Oswego, Oregon the vehicle would not start and the airbag fault and the convertible top fault light came on. The vehicle immediately went back to Park Place and spent 31 days before he was returned to me repaired. Soon after I discovered a gap in discrepancy between the hood and the right front fender, and after close review, it was obvious that this vehicle had been damaged. I took it to three body shops and those estimates were between 16,000 and $22,000 for repair. The vehicle had a clean Carfax report, but we all know how often that doesn’t work! Fortunately, The promotion picture (in their showroom) that actually caught my attention was clear that after zooming in could clearly identify the gap discrepancy and the terrible paint work covering it. At that point, the car had approximately 190 miles on it, which was the miles it took to get it to my home from Park Place. I requested a full refund immediately and they denied my request. I hired legal council to submit a demand letter and they did not respond. My attorney submitted an additional final demand letter before taking them to trial and they had their attorney respond with zero result. Speaking with many car dealers and friends in the business, my understanding is that is not unusual for them, and I would highly recommend reading this carefully before the purchase of any vehicle from them!

  • I'd been around Park Place for quite some time. Full honesty, some of the interactions with previous sales folks had been variable (some pretty off putting), but I'm talking about a decade or more ago. I did consign a car with them around 6 years ago and that experience was generally fine but their communication could have been better. A recent Lotus Emira purchase was pretty close to the ideal dealership experience. Minimal upselling, relatively easy from exploring, to my decision, to taking the car home, and the sales price and trade offer were pretty fair with minimal negotiating needed.

  • From the moment David at Park Place LTD picked up the phone, I knew I wasn’t talking to a salesman — I was talking to someone who genuinely wanted to help. His approach from the start was service-driven, direct, and professional. I had been searching for a very specific Dodge Viper for a long time and came with strict criteria. David didn’t waste a second with the typical dealership nonsense. I told him exactly what I wanted and what my budget was, and he gave me plain facts and straight answers. He was best-in-class in both professionalism and service. To my surprise, after walking me through every inch of the car on video, inside and out, and verifying every specification with his tech team, I bought the car sight unseen — and I did it with confidence. When I arrived to pick it up, the Viper was in even better condition than described. It exceeded every expectation I had. The truth is, I think David wanted me to have that car even more than I did. He recognized what it meant to me — a lifelong dream coming true — and treated it with that level of importance. Side note: David encouraged me to enter a competition immediately after I purchased the car. I did. And I took first place. I did that to honor his commitment to excellence. My experience with Park Place LTD was absolutely best-in-class. Zero disappointment!
