  Our car buying experience (11/21/25) of a 2017 Subaru Forester from Central Motor Company was a seamless and very positive experience. Not so many years ago the process felt daunting; personally comparing safety, mileage and durability along with used car sellers. Yesterday’s purchase was an easy, and professionally informed process. It began with our stalwart mechanic, Mark at Yost, who told us about CarGurus.com; compares prices from many dealers. Once zeroing in on the 2017 Subaru Forester, CarFax.com enabled us to lookup up all reports under its VIN #; accidents if any, service dates and locations, and use (rental, personal). We paid Autopi.com to come to CMC and examine all of the Forester systems, followed by a test drive. This Subaru received flying colors for its maintenance and condition. The battery and rear tail light were identified for immediate attention. CMC immediately attended to both replacements. We negotiated a price, guided by CarEdge.com. We have confidence in this purchase based on AutoPi’s inspection and the professional efficient process of Central Motor Company. Ben, of CMC, first helped us confirm the availability of the Forester, and on purchase day, Fred managed the inspection, purchase details, and follow through on the needed replacements. Ben and Fred were personable and direct in all communications, giving us confidence in CMC and our decision to purchase from them. I highly recommend Central Motor Company and for a used car purchase.

  We had a good experience when purchasing a used truck for our small business. We feel like we got a fair price for a good truck (we hired a mechanic to check it first & that worked out so far). We feel good about it at this point and appreciate this family business. We will be happy to recommend them to our loved ones.
