Selling my big boy vtx 1800c because I'm going into the Navy as a pilot, can't really keep moving around with it. Plus I won't need to get my adrenaline from a motorcycle anymore when my job is landing on an aircraft carrier. What's wrong with it: mechanically nothing. Exhaust is a little beat on, I took it off and tried polishing it and removing as much rust as I could, I then clear coated the pipes and chrome heat shields with a high temperature ceramic clear coat to prevent any further rusting. Guy who owned it before me stored it outside so the foot break assembly has some chrome corrosion, and the handlebar risers also are a little oxidized. The control buttons also have some weathering but work fine. I replaced the mirrors, and the handles so theyre good 👍. The previous owner swapped out the handlebars and lost the damn original odometer and odometer risers, so I got replacement ones if you want to switch back to different handlebars, the mini apes kind of grew on me so I kept them and used my phone for my speed. I changed the gear assembly oil and engine oil less then 500 miles ago, odometer reads 45xxx but not sure if the replacement odometer is accurate. Runs like a dream and is LOUD so make sure you show your neighbors some mercy when coming home from a night out. Included is the front flare, a windshield, a new cover, a motorcycle jack, the odometer and handlebar riser mounts for the OEM set up, throwing in some gear oil and 50cal saddle bags with the mounts (needs some nuts and bolts to mount the cans to the saddlemount, lost the originals when I moved) Can include the xl helmet, spent 200$ on it because it has a good anti fog visor. Title in hand, 2 keys, priced to sell.
