Description
RARE Prohibition Era Mulo Soda Crate w/ Bottles – Muehlebach Brewery Kansas City 1920s Antique advertisement Exceptional and hard-to-find original wooden soda crate with matching embossed emerald green glass “Mulo” bottles from Kansas City, Missouri. This set is associated with the Muehlebach Brewing Company, a historic Kansas City brewery that produced non-alcoholic beverages such as “Mulo” soda during Prohibition (1920s–early 1930s). Includes approximately 16 vintage emerald green glass bottles, most embossed “Mulo No. 14 – 10 Fluid Ounces” with classic script and underline logo. One bottle is a similar vintage green bottle without embossing. Crate retains original interior dividers and hinged lid. The original stencil lettering is still present, with the back side more legible than the front, adding to its authentic aged character. This is not something that comes along very often as a complete set with original bottles and crate together. A standout piece for collectors, bar display, restaurant décor, or vintage advertising enthusiasts. Condition: • Original antique condition with strong patina • Wood shows age, wear, and weathering along edges and surfaces • Interior dividers intact with expected dryness from age • Hinges and hardware show rust/patina • Stencil worn on front, clearer on back • Bottles show light wear from age; no major cracks or chips observed Overall, a solid, highly displayable piece with great character and historical significance. Local pickup – Lutz / Tampa area Please review photos as they are part of the description.
