Irwin Oval Leather-Top Writing Desk - Mahogany Console Table, Federal Style

Oval writing desk / console table by Robert W. Irwin Co., in the Federal (Hepplewhite) style - mahogany finish with a tooled leather top with gold trim, one center drawer, and open bookshelves built into both ends. Irwin maker plaque inside the drawer (see photo). Condition, honestly: solid and sturdy, but it has wear. The leather top has rings, scuffs, and fading (see the close-up photo). One brass caster has come off its leg - the caster is included, it just needs to be reattached. Priced with both in mind. Beautiful as a writing desk, entryway console, or sofa table. Genuine Irwin pieces like this list for several hundred dollars - this one is priced for its wear. Local pickup in Peoria. Cash only at pickup, and I can help you load it.
