We recently bought a Subaru from Sierra Subaru. We worked with Ivan Ledgard-Hurtado and could not have asked for a better sales representative. Not only was he friendly, honest and helpful, he was also very knowledgeable and took the time to find the few answers he did not already know. He was excellent at communicating with us, keeping us appraised of when our car would arrive.  And, when I discovered 2 weeks later I had accidentally left a pair of sunglasses In the car we traded in, he hunted them down and found them for me.

I had a great experience with the service department and specifically Jaime Vega and Mike Montoya. I had to bring my Subaru Forester for some repairs and check engine light. I was helped by both gentleman on 2 different days and they helped me out and got my car fixed and they also gave me a loaner car for 2 days.There is a reason I come to this dealership because they care about their customers and value your business. I come all the way from Corona to Monrovia because of their superior customer service. If you have any repair concerns about your Subaru please visit this dealership, you wont regret. I was visiting the 626 area and I needed some help with my Subaru app. I just very recently discovered the app and was having a problem with it. I called Subaru customer care and they were very sweet and helpful and told me that I just had to go to the dealership and that there would be no charge to get some help with it. The app itself works and it turns on the car, but it doesn't go to the exact temperature settings that I picked. I troubleshoot it online and ended up ultimately making an appointment at the Monrovia Subaru. At home, I have had wonderful experiences at my dealership. Everyone has always been so accommodating and has never charged me When I need help or have a question.

When I arrived, check-in was per usual. And I was assigned to Rafael. He did not even see what was wrong with my app or ask me really any questions. We didn't look at the app together. Try to turn the car on or anything. He automatically said that I needed to do a diagnostic test and it was going to be 3 to 4 hours. Very different than what I was told on the phone. He was not accommodating at all, and did not try to reason with me or troubleshooting any other way. It just felt like they wanted to take my money without actually looking at what the problem even was.

I was really excited to check out another Subaru dealership, because they are so dog friendly. I had brought my dog with me and wanted to take a photo and experience whatever dog friendly offerings they had. I never even made it that far. He was super extremely rude and non-accommodating and did not have good customer service so I ended up leaving.

I called the Subaru customer care again and they recommended that I just go to my home dealership and with people that I trust. So I guess this should be your reminder to just go to the people that you already know because these people were super rude.

Sierra has always been my Suby dealer, so when I went to trade my Ascent in for a new Subaru, I went back to them again. They were EVER so patient as it took my months of research and waiting for the car I "thought" I wanted to hit the showroom, and then deciding on the new hybrid Forester instead. Along the way I met with several different salepeople and all of them were professional and experienced and ready to answer all my questions. I felt heard and that they were truly honest with me. The fact that most of the Sierra employees also drive Subarus...says a lot too. I am thrilled with my new Suby and look forward to bringing it in for service to Sierra for many years to come.
