I recently divorced and found during separation my ex and her mom had opened credit cards and loans using my information. So my credit is tanked! I lost my car in this process as well. I had resigned to getting a $4-5K clunker. Alex at Brother’s Motors took amazing car of me! Got me into an SUV with 70K miles on it. New tires breaks recently serviced tuned up, perfect AC and a killer radio. Rides perfect! He ran my credit over the phone and came up with option right away. I arrived almost a full hour early and it didn’t matter, Alex was ready for me and could tell who I was without ever meeting me in person before. I paid $3500 with 3 debit cards, which included tax and tags. The remaining 10K is structured out into payments I can afford across a 48 month loan. I am amazed! The process was in and out and I am independent and on the road again! Amazing service, this made me so happy I teared up a bit. Thank you Alex!

I do not typically write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience so other buyers can make an informed decision.

We purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze from Brothers Auto for $3,500. At the time of sale, we were told the vehicle was in “perfect condition” and that there was nothing wrong with it.

Within two weeks, we took the car to our trusted mechanic because we noticed issues. The inspection revealed multiple oil leaks from several areas of the engine. We spent approximately $600 addressing some of the repairs, but the primary leak was estimated to cost an additional $3,000 to fix.

When we contacted Brothers Auto, Alex told us to bring the vehicle back so their mechanic could inspect it. After their inspection, we were presented with an $1,800 repair bill. When we declined the repair, we were reminded that the vehicle had been sold “as is” and that any repairs were our responsibility.

We accepted that responsibility and continued maintaining the vehicle ourselves. Unfortunately, less than three months after purchasing it, the engine failed completely. My daughter was stranded at 12:30 a.m. in Los Angeles when the engine blew, requiring a $500 tow bill just to get the vehicle home.

At this point, we have spent more on repairs and towing than the vehicle was worth. Between the purchase price, repairs, and towing expenses, this experience has been extremely costly and disappointing.

I understand that used cars can have unexpected issues and that vehicles sold as-is come with risks. However, based on our experience, the condition of this vehicle did not match the representations made at the time of sale.

My advice to anyone considering a purchase from Brothers Auto is simple: have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before buying, and do not rely solely on verbal assurances regarding the vehicle’s condition.
