Herman Miller MCM (Mid-Century Modern) Executive Desk

Mid-century modern executive desk featuring a solid, heavy racetrack oval oak top on an industrial-grade steel/chrome central pedestal base. From the 70's. Unique, heavy-duty 6-prong cast metal spider mounting bracket underneath for superior stability, alongside a low-profile integrated molded plastic slider tray/pencil drawer to keep desktop clean. The structural aesthetic heavily resembles high-end mid-century modern work from premium contract manufacturers like Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Knoll. Sleek, minimalist, and built like a tank. Shape: Racetrack Oval, 42"x66", 30"H Base: Heavy gauge chrome-plated 4-star pedestal base with original floor glide protectors Features: Built-in slide-out molded plastic desk organizer tray Condition: Solid vintage pre-owned condition. The top surface shows a beautiful natural oak wood grain with some minor age-appropriate wear and light finish variations on one end (adds great vintage character, or an easy candidate for a quick sand/oil refresh). Chrome legs do have some pitting, but can be cleaned and polished. Price is reflective of condition. Will accept reasonable offers. Structure and base are in excellent, incredibly sturdy shape. Bring truck and help. Base can be removed for transporting, but it is heavy.
