Estimated Market Value • Used / Resale Market Value: $300 – $600 On local secondhand markets like Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, or neighborhood estate sales, these mid-to-late 20th-century vintage production pieces usually sell in this range, depending on how quickly the seller wants to move them. • Retail / Dealer Market Value: $700 – $1,200+ Brand-new reproduction pieces or highly curated vintage listings sold through specialized oriental furniture platforms or antique dealer sites (like Etsy or 1stDibs) are listed closer to retail values. Key Value Factors • Condition: Check for any chips, cracking, or flaking in the heavy lacquer gloss finish, especially along the curved edges and top corners. • Completeness: Ensure all of the delicate, raised Mother of Pearl figures are intact and none of the carved pieces are missing from the doors or top. • Accessories: The presence of the custom-cut glass top designed to protect the lacquered surface helps retain its maximum value.
