Published In 2000 by The Corvallis Gazette Times and The Benton County Historical Society and Museum. Contents include the first settlers who arrived in Benton County in 1845 ( in 1855 Corvallis briefly became the capital of the Oregon Territory). Cities include, Philomath, Monroe, Alpine, Bellfountain, Alsea, Blodgett, Wren, Kings Valley, Summit and Adair Village.
