I got this to help with psoriasis as a light therapy treatment, under the impression it was a red light, however its a tanning light (it also helps but i already have one). It is actually super convenient and you can literally carry it around in your bag if you wanted. It came with the stand and i added photos just to show how tall it could get (highest it stands is 6 feet) but you can also disregard the stand altogether and hold the light in whatever position you want. It also has 4 brightness settings and a flashing setting. I never used it so its basically brand new, just sat in a drawer
