Antique Champaign Crystal Sipping Glass Set Of Four

The item for sale is a set of four vintage etched champagne coupes, elegant stemmed glassware featuring a distinctive band of etched scrollwork or stylized cloud-like motifs encircling the upper bowl. These pieces exhibit the classic wide, shallow saucer shape popular in the mid-20th century (likely 1930s–1950s), crafted from clear, high-clarity glass with fine etched detailing for a sophisticated, Art Deco-influenced aesthetic. Each coupe stands approximately 5–6 inches tall (based on standard proportions for similar examples), with a broad bowl suitable for champagne, cocktails (e.g., martinis or old-fashioneds), or sherbet service. The etched border—comprising repeating curved, wave-like, or abstract scroll patterns—adds subtle sophistication without overpowering the clean lines. No chips, cracks, or significant clouding are evident, preserving excellent vintage condition consistent with careful storage. This set originates from the era when such coupes were staple barware in American and European households, often produced by makers like Libbey, Fostoria, or comparable lines (exact maker unmarked in photos, common for mass-produced pieces). Comparable sets of four vintage etched coupes currently list in the $25–$60 range on platforms like eBay and Etsy, depending on pattern detail and condition; this example aligns with the mid-to-upper end due to the unique border design and overall preservation. Price: $45 (firm, or best reasonable offer considered). Local pickup preferred in the Los Angeles area (convenient meetup spots available). Cash, Venmo, or Cash App accepted. No shipping at this time due to fragility. These glasses bring timeless elegance to any gathering—perfect for retro cocktail parties, home bars, or as a thoughtful gift for vintage enthusiasts. Serious inquiries only; please message with any questions or to arrange viewing. Photos show the etched detail clearly—feel free to request additional angles. First come, first served!
