2017 Hyundai Veloster

Silver Hyundai Veloster 3-door hatchback with alloy wheels and tinted windows. Body is in clean condition with minor scratches and bumper clips needing replaced. Mechanical Issues: moderate-severe engine knocking that increasing with higher RPMs. Car has not been driven since engine knocking began and was towed to residential address. No check engine light is on but early diagnoses is a possible rod or piston / timing components needed replaced. No sugar coating here, very likely engine repair/replacement required and selling AS IS. Looking for someone who knows engines, has a close relationship to someone who feels like they can maximize the value of the car as it is a commitment I do not want to move forward with. Issue occurred Friday 10/30/26 No other mechanical issues have presented themselves. Transmission has shown no issues. Car will start and move and feel mechanically fine behind the wheel with the exception of the loud engine knocking. Although driving without repair is highly discouraged as it will likely Increase damage over time. Listing for 3,000 OBO. Kelly Blue book estimate of 5,500 assuming repair.
