Nothing is wrong with it it’s not even a year old. DOES NOT COME WITH STAIRS. It just does not fit our family any longer and we need to get something else. I paid 1900 total for delivery and assembly. You can buy the full sized mattress for an additional 300 it’s brand new my daughter sleeps on top bunk. Here’s the catch- you have to pick it up and put it back together, so you will need to come with a truck or rental flat bed to get it out of the room and load it. the price is so low I factored all this in
