Description

1946 Hudson Super Six – Original Survivor – Runs! For Sale: 1946 Hudson Super Six 4-Door Sedan Selling my 1946 Hudson Super Six. This is a beautiful, mostly original survivor that has retained much of its classic 1940s character. The car runs and is a great candidate for someone looking for an original classic to preserve, restore, or enjoy as-is with some mechanical attention. Highlights: * Original-style cream exterior * Beautiful vintage styling and body lines * Straight-six engine * Manual transmission * Very nice, well-preserved interior * Original-style bench seats, door panels, dashboard, and trim * Chrome bumpers, grille, and exterior trim * Wide whitewall tires with red wheels * Complete-looking car with lots of original details * Classic Hudson hood ornament and badging Condition: The car runs but needs exhaust work. There is some rust, paint wear, and age-related deterioration, as expected with an 80-year-old vehicle. The floorboards show surface corrosion, and the exterior has some rust spots and imperfections. The interior presents very well for its age, with attractive upholstery, original-style door panels, and a classic dashboard. This is not a fully restored show car. It’s an honest old Hudson with character and a great foundation for the next owner. These postwar Hudsons are getting harder to find, especially in this condition with so much of their vintage appearance intact. Located in Hemet, California. Serious inquiries welcome. Additional pictures available upon request.
