Vintage HAJI Japan Tin Wind Up Ladybug Frankonia Betsy Mechanical Bug Toy

A classic Vintage 1950s–1960s HAJI / Frankonia Tin Lithographed Wind-Up Ladybug Toy, made in Japan. Featuring bright red wing covers with black spots, a cream-yellow face with expressive blue cartoon eyes, wire antennae, and an integrated wind-up key. This piece bears both the official HAJI "MADE IN JAPAN" oval mark and the "A FRANKONIA TOY" distributor stamp on the rear shell. Excellent vintage visual condition. The printed tin lithography retains great color and shine, with light surface wear, minor micro-scratches, and slight edge wear consistent with age and careful display. No major dents or deep rust. The top ON/OFF lever moves freely. The wind-up mainspring catches and winds. The internal clockwork motor may be partially functional. Selling as-is / for display or light restoration.
