CD Love.45 Self Titled - 2004 - Great Shape. Amazon Review: I first saw these guys along with Sad Star Cafe (another great Dennver band) in the upstairs portion of a really old building on a fourth of July weekend about 6 years ago. I thought they performed great and I loved all of the songs. I got their first cd as soon as I could and absolutely loved it. I showed it to all my friends and they were hooked too. When I heard that Love 45 was going to be releasing their third album I was very excited and I knew I had to get it. I was not disapppointed!! I loved Mick's unique voice and I'm glad he still sings lead on some songs but I also think that Danny does fantastic on lead. The band has really matured and their sound seems a little more modern and polished on their newest album. My favorite songs are probably Way Down, Fade, Smile, and The Hey song (two of which are on their second album) but they are all awesome. This is the kind of music you crank up while you're cruising down the street with your windows down. IT ROCKS!
