Pit Bull: Based on the time it took me to print this x my freelance Artist rate of $2 per minute, this is valued at $260. The hardest parts of this were the getting color of the eyes and the parts of the nose where they meet functionality. Capturing expressions and emotions are my specialty, so that part was captured even in the first base color phase. You can order prints or swag of any non-commissioned art on my website for $40 plus printing in any size or format you choose. Pricing is based on time and the time it takes depends on the level of detail work involved. For example, there are between 2-4 phases of development in creating a painting. 1) The first layer phase gets the base layer printed for a background and the subject(s). 2) The second layer starts creating the shapes and basic structure. 3) The third layer is shading and highlights. 4) The fourth layer starts adding more details to the subject(s).
