Old school cast iron air compressor pump assembly. Great for a retro shop compressor project, restoration, industrial décor, steampunk build, display piece, or functional vintage compressor conversion. Details: • Vintage single cylinder reciprocating air compressor pump • Heavy cast iron construction • Belt driven • Large flywheel • Air cooled finned cylinder • Original intake silencer / filter included • Pump turns freely by hand • Still produces air when flywheel is rotated by hand • Original electric motor is missing Background: This appears to be 1960s Southern California municipal / industrial shop equipment. The original tank plate indicated Buehler Tank and Welding Works, Orange, California, manufactured around 1968, with former County of Los Angeles ownership. Condition: Used vintage industrial condition with surface rust, patina, and age related wear. Untested under powered operation. Not being sold as a certified working compressor.
