Purchased it brand new about 6 months ago. RESCUE brand combination cutting and spreading tool AKA the jaws of life. If you know, you know. Tool is in perfect condition, having only made about 5 cuts and 2 spreads, unfortunately was t-boned and my mobility is not so great anymore. SPECS----- Cutting force: 420kn (roughly 110,000-115,000 lbs cut force. Spreading force: 300kn (roughly 75,000 lbs spread force. Large capacity/long lasting batteries (x2) Charger included Weight of Tool : 39 and 1/2 lbs (has shoulder Strap) 2x Bright LED lights mounted above blade and below front hand grip. Comes in the really nice black, foam lined case, with lockable latches shown in pictures. Jaws of life. Cut through 5 inch round solid copper, with a 3 inch rubber shield (from very large boat wiring) like it was butter. Cut a solid iron rod that was about the same size as 2 thumbs put together around. Can Cut and spread open most things like doors and locks, and shawn kemps ATM. (Not saying go do that, just explaining the thing cuts. ) I purchased it brand new about 6 months ago for 4500 and some change after tax. .
