Vintage French Provincial Style Gold Velvet Armchair – Statement Chair

Beautiful vintage French Provincial / Louis XV–style fauteuil armchair with a carved cream-painted wood frame, graceful cabriole legs, scrolled arms, and gorgeous gold/mustard velvet upholstery. 🌼 One of my favorite details is the carved floral/daisy medallion crowning the top of the chair, with additional carved floral detailing along the frame. The rich golden velvet against the aged cream finish gives this chair such a warm, collected look. It's a beautiful statement piece for a home library, reading nook, bedroom, dressing room, entryway, office, or living room. The classic French silhouette works beautifully with English Country, Grandmillennial, Traditional, French Country, Ralph Lauren–inspired, Hollywood Regency, vintage eclectic, and maximalist interiors. Condition: Sturdy, substantial frame with no wobble. The painted finish has recently been refreshed/touched up while retaining its vintage character.
