Description

Beautiful excellent condition vintage stained glass Pegasus. Stunning colors in vibrant red and green background surrounding creamy opalescent white Pegasus flying horse. Has outer border of crystal clear crazed or ripple glass laid out expertly in a fan or ray pattern. I did some research and this came from the iconic and somewhat scandalous Pegasus Pizza on Alki in Seattle. I was actually able to locate a photo of this window as it hung in the restaurant from a local news article (last picture). Overall dimensions measure 36 inches in height by 40 inches width. Comes framed in beautiful solid oak and has the original hardware and attached hanging chains for suspension from a ceiling or window. This is in exceptional condition with no cracks or damage of any kind and solder and grout is in original vintage condition with no visible flaws. Own a part of local Seattle history with a great statement piece such as this.
