Vintage Indiana Glass "Bird of Paradise" glass basket, Embossed, Raised Pattern Candy Dish, in peach/rose pink. Wing Handles: The prominent, sweeping handles are molded to resemble the stylized wings of a bird meeting at the top. Embossed Motif: The sides of the basket feature an elegant, raised pattern depicting a bird of paradise nestled among feathers and foliage. Shape & Base: It features a flared, ruffled rim with an Art Nouveau flair, supported by a sturdy, circular footed base. Produced for the Tiara Exclusives line between the 1970s and 1990s, this collectible pressed-glass piece is highly recognizable by its unique wing-shaped handles that meet at the top to simulate a bird in flight. The sides of the footed basket feature embossed, stylized figures of a bird nested among detailed feathers and foliage Measures Approximately 7" x 7" x 5"
