Because of this, we’ve made a tarp that can be used in any condition - that’s right, you can use it to shield the sun on a hot summer’s day, stop springtime downpours, or fight off a winter snowfall. Crafted to be ultralight and compact, bring it for both hammock and tent camping or use at home to cover a kids play area or tree house. The possibilities are endless! The Galapagos has been carefully thought out. We wanted to create a tarp that was designed for hammock camping, but could be used for so much more. We knew that to fully enjoy the FE Active Trestles Hammock you needed a way to stay dry during unfavorable conditions. We solved this by creating a rainfly made of 380T ripstop nylon fabric and then coating it with 5000mm PU (waterproofing), making it our most waterproof product to date. Reinforced edges and corners help protect the rainfly from ripping in windy conditions. Six grommets are found along the edges, allowing you to install this tarp in a variety of ways. Rope and aluminum pegs are included to provide everything you need right out of the box - or the bag in this case.
