5-Gallon Aquarium Setup – Complete with Everything Except the Will to Keep It Alive 😂

$80 takes the whole disaster… I mean, delightful hobby starter kit. We walked into Petco for “just one little goldfish” for the kids. We left with this black-framed 5-gallon tank, a cart full of accessories, and the naive belief that three boys under 5 would become responsible marine biologists overnight. Spoiler: They didn’t. The fish lasted longer than our parenting optimism. What you’re getting (everything in the picture): • 5 gallon tank + black lid with LED light (works perfectly) • Heater, filter, air pump, tubing, the whole circus • Blue gravel, some and random décor • Thermometer (currently reading “neglect”) • A half-used bottle of water conditioner and a net that has never caught anything except my tears Tank holds water, no leaks, no cracks, or structural damage… just emotional damage to the parents.
