Squier pro tone stratocaster

This is an extremely nice stratocaster , and a rare guitar and collector's item. If you're into fender and stratocasters, you will love this guitar and you should definitely Google and learn about the pro.Tone series. These guitars were only made for 3 years between ninety six and ninety eight in the Cort factory in Korea. As the name suggests , it was to be their highest end line of electric guitars. The bodies are solid swamp ash. The craftsmanship and materials are high end. But as far as fender was concerned , they were too good! And in fact , they were cutting into fenders , sales of american made fenders and so fender shut down the pro tone line entirely...basically squiers were not supposed to be this good. They're hard to find and typically go for around $500 plus shipping. They're at least as nice as mexican made fenders , but they're much more exclusive , rare and special. And this one is a really nice example , nice low action dialed in the real stratocaster and plays like a dream. I have an amp available , so you can play it before buying.
