“Black Forest” Hand Carved German Coffee Table- Beautiful!!

Black Forest hand carved coffee table, authentic Vintage / Antique piece brought back from Germany when my grandparents were stationed there in the 60’s. Very intricate details carved out to display a beautiful mountainside village. These were very popular in the 60’s-70’s and there are quite a few of them available online but this is the only one that I could find with this “kidney bean” shape, which makes it a rare and unique find! It has 4 straight, tapered legs that screw into the bottom side at slight angles making this a sturdy table for everyday use. And the original glass top makes for a smooth surface to set things on while giving an unobstructed view of the carving beneath. This table will complement many decor styles well including mid-century modern, vintage/retro, rustic, contemporary & much more. I’ve also seen these tables mounted as wall art(without the legs of course), so that is another option to consider!
