Description

Bring timeless European elegance into your home with this beautiful vintage hand-painted oil on wood panel painting. Masterfully executed in the tradition of 19th-century Dutch Realism, this piece captures a charming country scene featuring a rooster and hens in a rustic farmyard, bearing the homage signature "A. Mauve." The painting is housed in its original, exceptionally heavy, and deeply ornate gold gilt wood-and-plaster frame. Distributed in the late 20th century under the premium "Timeless Treasures" line by Art & Frame Direct, this high-quality reproduction offers the texture, weight, and presence of a true museum antique without the multi-thousand-dollar price tag. Its compact footprint makes it a perfect choice for an entryway, a curated gallery wall, or styled on a library bookshelf. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The frame is structurally sound, sturdy, and retains its deep, rich gold finish with minimal wear. The oil painting on wood panel is vibrant and securely mounted. Includes original framing hardware and wire, ready to hang. Dimensions: Total Frame Size: 13" W x 15" H x 2.5" D Medium: Hand-painted oil on rigid wood board (panel)
