up for sale is a Vintage Limoges Porcelain French Soldier Officer Bust Trinket Box.............Very Good Condition About this item This is a vintage porcelain bust of a Napoleonic-era style French soldier or officer, mounted on a hinged trinket/jewelry box base. He wears a tall black military hat with a white plume and gold band, a white uniform with gold dots and buttons, a pink sash across the chest, and gold accents at the collar. The face has a mustache and painted features. The base is a reddish-brown speckled porcelain cylinder with ornate gold-tone metal hinge, rim, and flower clasp. Bottom is marked LIMOGES with a fleur-de-lis style mark. Approximate overall height is 6 inches. The box opens and closes normally. Condition is good with light wear. No chips or breaks.
