Cornet in Bb - Great for Students

This is a Concertone Professional Cornet in the key of Bb. A great student/intermediate horn for elementary, middle, or high school students as well as any beginner/intermediate trumpet players. Cornets are a little smaller than trumpets so they are a great size horn for young students to start on. Also a great addition to a trumpet players’ collection because some music specifically calls for a cornet. Includes a standard 7c mouthpiece and protective carry case so you have everything you need to start playing. I just had it cleaned and oiled: all the valves, slides, and other parts are free moving, lubricated, and working great. The trumpet plays and sounds great. This is a pretty neat horn because it probably dates to between 1(contact info removed) imported from Czechoslovakia. For being around 100 years old, it’s in great playing shape. The finish is worn through where it has been handled, but it does not have any large scratches or dents that would diminish the sound or playing quality. The mouthpiece dates to 1965-69 from the engraving. Includes a vintage, breifcase style, hard case to protect and transport it. Looking for local pickup, cash only. Shipping also available. Thanks!
