Right after I bought my car, I noticed a sound in the rear undercarriage and the check-engine light came on (cruise light started flashing, too) They checked it out and told me that it was a simple fix involving the fuel neck and gas gap. That seemed strange to me and I asked, “Really? What is that sound then.” They asked me if this was my first Subaru, and it is. They said they drove it and heard nothing unusual (!?) They ordered the parts, and I had it repaired a couple of weeks ago.

Last week, the check-engine and flashing cruise lights came back on, just like before. I took it to another shop here in town and they told me it was my rear hub assembly. I asked what the chances were that this was not happening a few months ago when I bought the car, and he laughed. He said, “Sounds like you’d better go have a conversation with Ruddell.”

I brought it in this morning and showed them the repair quote. I reminded them that I have been trying to find out what was wrong with the rear undercarriage of my car since I bought it. The young man smiled sweetly and said, “Did You purchase the extended warranty? If you did, we’d be happy to fix it for you for $50.”

I didn’t purchase the extended warranty. I’m a single mother, barely making ends meet. I trusted Ruddell not to sell me a car that needed $2,000 in repairs before I drove it off the lot.

All the staff at Ruddell was amazing and worked with me to make my experience more than good.. They did this as a team with me as part of it during the process. I don’t want to purchase a vehicle any where else.

I had a check engine light that came on last Friday.  Stopped by had it analyzed I a few minutes with an appointment for the following Monday to replace a failed glow
plug.  They completed it in the time they said they would and everyone was friendly and polite.   Very good experience all in all.

Everyone from the youngest salesman (Chris) to the Parts Dept, to the reason for my being there - Service - were outstanding and a pleasure to be with.

My only complaint is that Linda didn’t let me take the Ferrari, I mean, deep blue Corvette around the block.  I heard later that it was a customer’s new ride still sitting on the showroom floor. So I don’t mind that.  Tate was great!     5 Stars Overall
