Up for sale is a stunning, pristine vintage Turkish heybe (double saddlebag) handwoven by nomadic tribal weavers in the Anatolia region. This piece features magnificent geometric star motifs rendered in a striking palette of deep burgundy, vibrant pinks, ochre yellows, and contrasting dark tones. It is expertly crafted using a combination of traditional flat-weave kilim techniques and intricate, raised cicim (brocade needlework) embroidery that gives the pattern a beautiful, tactile texture. It's actually saddlebag s for camels and donkeys but people use them as wall tapestries and rugs. It's intact It's wool protective back is intact. It's in museum condition.
