Exterior is Made out a nice brass metal exterior ( Some tarnishing present) and silver Eye Cap. You turn the entire kaleidoscope to tumble object cell. 4 Mirror System with infinite color in a band pattern. Hand made by French Company Apres La Pluie. Have fun viewing the ever changing colors in a dry cell. Measures over 8 1/4 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches in diameter.
