Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Canon EF Mount) - FOR PARTS OR REPAIR

I am selling a Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 for Canon EF mount strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. NO AUTOFOCUS. MANUAL USE ONLY. The lens was recently dropped. Due to the impact, it has lost electronic communication with the camera body. When mounted, it registers as an F00 error on screen. Because of this communication loss, Autofocus (AF) and Vibration Control (VC) do not function, and the electronic aperture cannot be adjusted from the camera body. There is a small plastic dent on the front ring from the drop. This is purely cosmetic, does not impact the structural integrity of the filter threads, and does not show up in any images. What DOES work: • Optics & Image Quality: All glass elements are in great shape. There are no scratches, fungus, haze, or cracks. The lens still takes beautiful, sharp photos when focused manually. • Manual Focus: The manual focus ring rotates smoothly throughout the entire range without any grinding or resistance. • Physical Barrel: Aside from the minor cosmetic dent on the front ring, the lens body is structurally solid. Ideal For: • Budget videographers or film shooters who want a fast, optically excellent f/2.8 telephoto lens for manual use (you just need to enable "Release shutter without lens" in your camera settings). • Repair technicians or hobbyists looking for a ribbon cable/contact block repair project. • Anyone looking for a pristine optical donor lens. What’s Included: • Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 Lens (Canon EF Mount) • Original Tamron Tripod Collar • Canon 70-200mm padded lens case • Rear Lens Cap & Front Lens Cap (Non-Original) Sold completely AS-IS with no returns. Please review the description carefully and check the photos to see the cosmetic dent on the front ring.
