Description

A classic European brand baby grand piano hoping to find a good home. This belongs to my in-laws who originally bought this at $7000 for their kids to learn and they grew up not playing it much. Really great condition since it’s only been lightly used by the kids. Seat is a basic upholstery is still held like new and the piano just needs tuning and a bit of dusting. If you feel like you or your child wants to get serious in learning the piano, owning a secondhand and well cared for instrument is always better than paying full price for a new instrument and going through taxes. Product Description: The Samick model SG-172 grand piano was known for its cultured, refined and mellow tone. The touch-weight is center-light, and it plays expressively. Its well-regulated action provides excellent repetition. This very attractive instrument, with its high-polish black finish, is 5’8” in length. The lid is beveled for a graceful design statement, and the piano has spade-style legs. It has a true Sostenuto pedal for more comprehensive musical performances. The original padded bench with storage is included. Its combination of a desirable price point, well-built construction and superior musicality has made the Samick model SG-172 grand piano one of the most popular piano models sold in the U.S. for over twenty years. When this SG-172 was built, Samick owned a portion of the high-end piano factory C. Bechstein Pianofortefabrik of Germany. A few years later they acquired the stalwart Seiler Piano Co., also of Germany. Samick currently builds the Kohler & Campbell, Wm. Knabe and Pramberger pianos as well as their own signature line.” **We do not provide moving solutions, so please schedule professional movers if you’re interested in buying the piano**
