Description

This is an original painting done by me using a stretched white canvas over a wood frame, I then used a cream-colored acrylic paint with a slight gold tinge to give it that parchment paper effect (the kind of material the egyptians scrawled their hieroglyphics onto, an old wrinkled slightly distressed/weathered parch paper) then, i drew each hieroglyphic onto the painted canvas with a gold spray-paint like pen (the pen itself doesn't spray the paint out, i'm just using that term to describe how you shake the pen to get the paint flowing and a little metal ball rolls around and sounds exactly how it sounds when you shake a can of spray paint. I don't know why that detail was important, or if it even is, i just felt compelled to add it! Lol) But this painting has an authentic egyptian art look to it and it's a really cool looking piece. The dimensions are 24 inches tall by 18 inches wide, so basically it's 2 feet tall and 1 foot 6 ½ inches wide. Purchasing a painting from me goes towards vetrinary expenses for my two dogs Marley & Crooklyn. I had pet insurance but it doesn't cover prexisting conditions and you have to pay the entire vet bill up front & out of pocket and the pet insurance reimburses you IF the treatment is covered and you have paid the deductible, which defeated the purpose of pet insurance in the first place and felt the monthly premium was not worth the policy and i would be better off using the money for the premium to pay for the vet! As always, the price IS negotiable, so no reasonable offer will be refused but try to keep in mind the cost of art supplies (canvass & paint) and the amount of time i put into creating it and try not to go too low. I appreciate it and my dogs will too! Thank you for looking at my work!
