Description

1965 or 66 Lyle hollowbody guitar. These guitars were made in Japan alongside the Epiphone Casino's, only difference were the headstocks. All maple body, 1.75" thickness and double bound. Original finish has been cleaned & buffed. Large hole in the back when I acquired, so I cleaned it up and made a birchwood cover, attempting to match paint & clearcoat. New CTS 500k pots, switchcraft 3-way switch and jack. The floating bridge is original, disassembled & cleaned. Installed new Gretsch electromagnetic blacktop humbuckers. I made walnut pickup rings for a perfect fit. Original neck has new Gibson tuners installed, fretbd has been leveled & refretted, 24.75" scale. The currently installed neck is 25.5" scale with new Grover tuners. Both necks go with guitar as does a metal stand. Check out this unique instrument!
